All the articles published in Indonesian Journal of Material Research are freely available online (Open Access) in order to allow the scientific society and public to gain free and immediate access to the published articles. However, the publishing process is not without costs. To cover the publication cost, the authors have to pay an article processing charges (APCs). The APC is charged to the author when their manuscript is editorially accepted or before the publication with the amount of USD 50. There are no charges for rejected articles, no submission charges, and no surcharges based on the length of an article, figures, or supplementary data. Also, all the editorial items including editorials, corrections, additions, retractions, letters, and comment, are free of charges.
